This is a linear route, very easy, for beginners, which runs along the greenway of the valley of the Eresma. Starting from Segovia, with its rich World Heritage Site, we follow the alternative route to the Ávila route of the Northern Railway, which crosses cereal fields and areas of pine forests, to reach the walled city of Olmedo. Along its route we will be able to visit Santa María la Real de Nieva and the famous cloister of its monastery, as well as the monumental Coca and its castle.
Since 1985, the Old Town of Segovia and its Aqueduct is a World Heritage Site.
This route runs through the lagoons of Coca and Olmedo, sites classified as SCI (Site of Community Importance) in the Natura 2000 network.
Day 1.- Transport to Segovia. Ride from Segovia to Santa María la Real de Nieva (42 km), by the greenway of the valley of Eresma. Visits to the Canyon of Tejadilla, the Cerro San Isidro, or the cloister of the monastery of Nuestra Señora de la Soterraña in Santa María la Real de Nieva. Lodging.
Day 2.- Ride from Santa María to Olmedo (40 km),by the greenway of the valley of Eresma. Visits in Coca and Olmedo. Transport back home.
