This is a 3-days ride, linear route, for intermediate cyclists, that follows one of the proposed routes of the retirement that Saint Frutos had to take, when it left the city and went to retire to the gorges of the Duratón river.
Along the dirt roads and paved secondary roads we will cross the foothills of the sierra and the moors full of junipers, until we reach the Duratón gorges. In this beautiful landscape is the hermitage of San Frutos, patron of Segovia, and destination of our pilgrimage on wheels. We will take transportation back home from Cantalejo.
Since 1985 the aqueduct and the old city of Segovia, are World Heritage Sites. Pedraza is part of the network of the most beautiful towns of Spain and the network of Medieval Towns and Villages.
This route runs through the Hoces del Río Duratón Natural Park, site classified as SCI (Site of Community Importance) and SPA (Special Protection Area) in the Natura 2000 network.
