This is a linear route, lasting 2 days of cycling, for intermediate cyclists who want to cycle along the Alicante coast and get to know its stone guardians better.
The province of Alicante has more than 230 castles and fortifications that tell us about different pasts, some not so remote. Throughout the tour we will see part of the line of medieval watchtowers that were built to protect ourselves from the constant threats of pirates and Berbers who arrived by sea. We pedal along the coast from Alacant to Benidorm, and at all times we can use the Tram.
In the end, this route runs through the Serra Gelada and Litoral de la Marina Baixa, spaces cataloged as SCI (Site of Community Importance) within the Natura 2000 network.
