El jardín de GaiaThis is a 1-day route, very easy, for those families who want to go by bicycle to plant their organic garden in the Gaia Garden, between Villalba and El Escorial, in Madrid.

In this fabulous natural environment, you will have advice from day one on regenerative agriculture, and a wide range of training, which includes a botanical route for children and adults, and a bird observatory, workshops on sustainability, canning, natural soaps... A bike activity to feel the contact with nature and the rural environment.

Since 1984, the monastery and the site of El Escorial have been World Heritage Site.

This route runs through the Guadarrama river basin, a space classified as SCI (Site of Community Importance) within the Natura 2000 Network.

Scheduled itinerary: 

Villalba train station - urban area - dirt roads - Gaia Garden - dirt roads - bike lanes - urban area - El Escorial train station.

Accommodation available in yurt, superadobe dome or wooden cabin.
