This is a 2-days, circular route, for advanced cyclists who want to know the enigmatic mountain of Moncayo by bicycle.
Symbol and limit of the Celtiberian culture, roof of the Iberian mountain range, natural border of Castile, Navarre and Aragon, will surprise us with its forests, its flat topped hillss and its strong slopes, which give us an incomparable scenery for enjoying spectacular views of the plateau and the ravines that descend to the Ebro valley. Starting from Agreda, village of the Three Cultures, we ascend to the slopes of the Moncayo and surround it southwards to spend a night in Purujosa. On the next day we cycle northwards, go around the Moncayo and descend again to Agreda.
This route runs through Moncayo, a site classified as SCI (Site of Community Importance) and SPA (Special Protection Area) in the Natura 2000 network.
