Bicicletos Viajes participates in the SOCIAL AND SOLIDARITY ECONOMY, including as far as possible the consumption of goods and services with ethical, democratic, ecological and solidarity criteria following the recommendations and principles of the Social and Solidarity Economy.

Bicicletos Viajes is an entity of the Madrid Social Economy Market (MESM).

The Social Assessment of the MESM allows us to account for how the entities belonging to the Social Market and REAS (Red de la Economía Alternativa y Solidaria) develop productive, commercial and financial activities based on the fundamental principles of the Social and Solidarity Economy: work, equity, cooperation, commitment to the environment, absence of profit motive and environmental sustainability.

The Social Assessment dedicates a thematic block to each of these principles and each block evaluates the level of compliance of companies through a battery of questions. With the answers, a series of indicators are built. In Madrid, these indicators are weighted to measure the status of entities regarding each of these principles.
