This is a two-days, circular route, for advanced cyclists, in a privileged natural environment.
We will cross the Sierra de Gredos mountain range twice, with some push to cross the passes. Starting from El Tiemblo, we will climb up through pine groves and chestnut woods of the Valley of la Yedra to finally get to Casillas. On the next day, and after climbing a pass, we descend by the Iruelas Valley to the El Burguillo reservoir shores, from where we will pedal back to El Tiemblo.
This route runs through the Iruelas Valley Nature Reserve, a site classified as SCI (Site of Community Importance) and as SPA (Special Protection Area) in the Natura 2000 network.
