This is a 2-days, linear route, for beginner cyclists who want to discover a couple of treasures of the province of Ciudad Real.
We start with an emblematic wetland, the Tablas de Daimiel, where with a little luck we can spot its aquatic birdlife, in a unique flood plain at the confluence of the Guadiana and Guadiela rivers. And we finish with the Motilla del Azuer, a surprising fortress more than 4000 years old that houses the oldest well on the peninsula.
The Tablas de Daimiel National Park is a protected wetland according to the RAMSAR Convention, as well as being listed as SCI (Site of Community Importance) and as SPA (Special Protection Area) in the Natura 2000 network.
