On the Carrilet greenway
This is a very easy, weekend route for beginners who want to spend a couple of days resting and taking care of themselves in the thermal baths of Caldes de Malavella (Girona).
Of course, we go and return by bike. Departing from the city of Girona we take the Carrilet greenway and then some rural roads that take us to Caldes de Malavella. Here we can discover how hotsprings are the identity symbol of the location: its spas, Roman Baths or their sources, where the water flows at a temperature close to 60 ° C. The ride back to Girona follows the Via Augusta, or if we are very lazy, by train.
Our local provider is: 
Day 1.- Ride from Girona to Caldes de Malavella (28 km), by the Carrilet greenway. Visit to the hotsprings of Caldes de Malavella. Lodging at Vichy Catalan balneary.
Day 2.- Ride from Caldes to Girona (24 km), by the Via Augusta.
