This is a linear route, two days of pedaling, for advanced cyclists, that runs through the landscapes and towns of the Sierra del Rincón, which in 2005 was declared a Biosphere Reserve.
On the first day we start from Montejo de la Sierra and basically pedal along tracks up to the Montejo beech forest and later finish in Puebla de la Sierra, where we will be amazed by its 7 unique trees. The next day we descend to the Lozoya valley, along the beautiful Robledillo de la Jara road, from where we continue to the Villar and Buitrago de Lozoya reservoir.
Since 2005 the Sierra del Rincón is a Biosphere Reserve.
This route runs through the Lozoya River Basin and Sierra Norte, a space cataloged as SCI (Site of Community Importance) and as SPA (Special Protection Area) within the Natura 2000 Network.
