A tour that covers the whole coast of Portugal: a linear, 4-weeks route, for intermediate cyclists, from the estuary of the river Miño to Guadiana's one.
From the saddle of our bicycle we can know a superb environment of lagoons, dunes and forests, with their beaches and spectacular cliffs, its marshes and salinas, and their capes always beaten by the sea, in one of the best preserved coastal landscapes of the continent. We also can visit their emblematic cities, like the thrilling Porto, that gives name to the country, Coimbra, birthplace of the fado, or the great city of Lisbon. Following the recommendations of José Saramago, we will pedal by bike lanes, quiet roads, and boardways, with short sections of national highway.
Since 1996 the historic center of Porto, since 2013 the University of Coimbra, and since 1983 the monastery of the Monastery of the Hieronymites and the Tower of Belém in Lisbon, are World Heritage Sites. And since 2002, the bay of Setúbal has been a member of the Club of the most beautiful bays in the world.
