Geopark

A geopark is a territory that contains a unique geological heritage. But it's not just about geology. A geopark must demonstrate that it also promotes education in geological and environmental aspects, ensures the sustainable development of the region and contributes to the protection of threatened geological points of interest. The European Geoparks Network was created in 2000 and is currently composed of 70 geoparks from 23 different countries, of which 11 are in Spain. We like to go all over them by bike and we invite you to do it.
