This is a one-week, circular route, for advanced cyclists who want to go all over the serranía de Cuenca, the largest wooded area of the peninsula, and discover their secrets.
Here water and wind have shaped gorges and canyons, stone carved cities, sink-holes and lagoons, in a collection of natural resources of priceless geological value. Likewise, its extensive forest masses and its wide variety of natural environments make this mountain range one of the most biodiverse sites in our geography.
Since 1929, the Enchanted City is a Natural Monument, and since 1996 the fortified city of Cuenca is a World Heritage Site.
In addition, we remind you that Cuenca is the Spanish Capital of Gastronomy 2023.
The Serranía de Cuenca is a site classified as SCI (Site of Community Importance) and as SPA (Special Protection Area) in the Natura 2000 network.
